This post is gonna be a little more personal than the usual. A few months back I told my best friend Riley about my secret dream of mermaidhood. I was too embarrassed to tell anyone else, but I know I can always count on Riley to be fully supportive of my dreams. But when I told her she was more than supportive; she wanted to be a mermaid too! About 27 days ago, I did the Insouciant Spell and yesterday I told Riley that in a few days I was gonna be a mermaid. She insisted that she do the spell too and that is how she ended up in my bathroom with her feet soaking in the bathtub pronouncing words she didn't know the meaning to. So I guess we're both gonna be mermaids now!
